Purpose:
To create a brand that encompassed a modern take on the vintage aesthetic of Las Vegas in the 1950’s through 1960’s. A huge inspiration for the overall branding came from the Rat Pack musical group. The Rat Pack members included singers and actors such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., British actor Peter Lawford, and comedian and talk-show host Joey Bishop. Many believe that it was the Rat Pack that allowed Vegas to truly become the entertainment destination giving life to the romanticized ideal of glamour, glitz, and riches.
Project role:
I contracted with Bill Jenkin, owner of the Prosser Vineyard Winery in the Yakima Valley to be the primary Visual Designer for this role. I collaborated with Bill to create a new brand for his second wine distribution in Prosser called Bill’s Tasting Room. I designed the overall branding that included the updated logo, business cards, and interior design. Along with that, I also collaborated with 1123 Productions to create a 3-D neon sign for the outside logo display.
Software used:
Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
