Purpose:

I created Flava Specialty Spice Tablets to better assist college aged individuals who are just learning how to cook, or busy families that are always on the go. There are pyramid shaped tablets that are made out of spice that can be easily mixed with stew, or any meal without needing to measure the amount of spice or what spices to mixed with that meal. Within the packaging there are six different types of spice tablets; Spanish, Italian, French, Greek, Turkish, and Moroccan.

Project role:

I was the visual designer who created the concept of the spice tablets, overall branding, and the packaging as well. I took inspiration from when I was in Spain, primarily focusing on the Alhambra palace that is located in Granada. The Moorish architecture within the Alhambra is vast, but is composed of thousands of intricate patterns and details. I documented the patterns that I saw throughout the palace, and used these photos to assist with my ideation process for the branding.
