Purpose:

This project shows a glimpse inside a self-motivated project where the goal was to create a new design each day for 30 days. The purpose of this project was to teach myself to be a more efficient designer. Each week I changed the theme of the project, so this showcases a week into the theme of “origami animals”.

Project role:

As a self-motivated project and sole visual designer I had the ability to plan the entire process. I laid out what theme each week would be in advanced to eliminate indecision. I created the origami vectors in Adobe Illustrator, and the inspiration mainly came from a combination of photos and physically making origami animals as references. This exercise was useful with translating an object that is usually different shades of white or gray into a series of vibrant colors.
